[Video] Sewer Fishing In Hanoi

Hanoi may be the most polluted city in SE Asia, but that doesn’t stop its residents from using its sewers as a food source.

This clip, filmed on Đỗ Đức Dục Street in front of the Hanoi Museum after a rainstorm last month, shows a group of men using a stick to coax at least 4 fish from the storm drain’s murky waters.

The capital isn't the only place in Vietnam where sewer fishing is a thing. Earlier this year, a clip filmed in Saigon showed 2 men dropping their lines through the holes of a sewer cover for their catch
