A truck carrying hydrochloric acid flipped over this morning at the Bùi Văn Hoà – Võ Nguyên Giáp roundabout in Biên Hoà City, spewing 5,000 liters of the substance onto the roadway.

According to VN Express, the driver, Huỳnh Văn Nhâm, made a sharp turn at the roundabout when the truck suddenly flipped. 5 cases containing acid were punctured and flooded the street with simmering liquid and toxic fumes.

Fortunately, nobody was injured and cleanup of the site is underway.
