Though further details regarding the case have not been released, the Ministry of Public Security has launched an investigation into the incident in conjunction with airport customs officials.
Particularly ahead of the September 2 national holiday, authorities are taking extra precautions to prevent the illegal shipment of weapons and military equipment into the country by air.
