Since adopting their Saigon-born son Pax in 2007, Brangelina have become perhaps Vietnam’s most popular foreign celebrity couple.
As such, when news broke that Brangelina had taken a sneaky three-day trip to Vietnam earlier this week, the local media was abuzz, dissecting their itinerary in painstaking detail, according to VnExpress.
On Sunday, the couple arrived at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, where they then boarded a seaplane to Ha Long Bay. The pilot was reportedly told that he would be flying VIP guests and was instructed not to speak to them.
After taking in Ha Long Bay from above, Brangelina visited Hanoi’s Old Quarter and other capital attractions before heading off to Cambodia, where Angelina Jolie is directing the film adaption of First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia, a memoir by Khmer Rouge survivor Luong Ung. Both Pax and Brangelina's Cambodian-born son Maddox will also assist with the film's production.
This was the couple’s fourth trip to Vietnam since 2006 (as seen in the top photo).
