AFTERNOON (2-5:30pm)
* Setup (1:30pm - 2pm)
* Welcome volunteers (2pm-2:15pm)
* Discuss plans and procedures (2:15pm - 2:30pm)
* Cleanup activity (2:30pm - 4pm)
* Take a break (4pm - 4:30pm)
* Continue cleanup (4:30pm-5:30pm)
* Group photos (5:30pm)

WE NEED:
- 10 team leaders
- 2 first aid volunteers
- 100 volunteers to help clean up

Climate change is getting worse day-by-day and we greatly encourage everyone to ride their bicycles to the event. We will have some great prizes for everyone who does!

EVENT SAFETY GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ)

Please follow all of the following guidelines to stay safe during the event :
1. Always wear shoes and use qualified equipment such as gloves, tongs and bags, especially when picking up sharp objects such as needles, glass, broken bottles, light bulbs, knives, razor blades or other dangerous objects
2. Wear life jacket when cleaning up in canals, rivers or lakes. Wear hats in the summer and dress warmly in the winter. Take a break whenever you feel tired.
3. Remain cautious of dangerous objects, dangerous animals or poisonous plants around you at the event.
4. Work in pairs when cleaning and carrying heavy bags.
5. If you bring any children, please keep an eye on them.
6. Clean up in daylight hours only
7. Obey traffic laws when traveling to and from the event.
8. Wash your hands with soap after the clean-up event
**Please do NOT attempt any of the following :
1. Handle hazardous items such as chemicals, guns or objects potentially carrying disease such as dead animals, animal faeces, syringes, condoms, medical waste or any unidentified objects.
2. Pick up trash on roads, highways, dark areas or dangerous places such as areas close to electrical cabinets, unstable banks and flooded areas.
3. Drink or eat questionable water or food.
4. Attempt to enter an open waterway when cleaning up

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The Keep Hanoi Clean is not responsible for any harm or injury, death, or loss, damage of any kind while volunteers participate Clean Up Events in Hanoi.
2. KHC reserves the right to use any photograph, video taken at the Clean Up Events for marketing purposes.
3. All the volunteers are responsible for taking care of any equipment provided by KHC for the Clean Up Events, as well as return them to the group after finishing their job. Items not returned to KHC must have their equivalent replacement cost paid for by the borrower.
4. We use and share only non-identifying information data such as age, gender, or city of residence of volunteers with our partners and donors to describe the types of people that enjoy helping KHC and Hanoi. For example, we want to empower women and support the youth. No personal names, emails, phone numbers or social media accounts are shared. Sharing something about yourself helps us tell the story of who is KHC.
