Saigon Ranked Among The World’s 18 Best Cities For Street Food

The southern metropolis was listed among ten destinations that “tickle veggie-loving taste buds” due to the abundance of eateries that offer vegetarian options.

Ghent, Belgium topped the list, dubbed 10 Foodie Cities for the Vegan and Vegetarian Traveler, partly due to city regulations that requite resturaunts to have at least one vegetarian offering on their menu.

Here’s the full list:

  1. Ghent, Belgium
  2. Chennai, India
  3. Chiang Mai, Thailand
  4. Saigon, Vietnam
  5. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
  6. Berlin, Germany
  7. Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
  8. New York City, New York, USA
  9. Taipei, Taiwan
  10. Portland, Oregon, USA

Based on this Google map created by a Hanoi resident, it looks like the capital isn’t far behind Saigon when it comes to bountiful meatless offerings.
