Vietnamese Gameshow Contestants Make Terrible Fake DJs

The fastest way to a man's heart is through impeccable fake DJ skills. We all know it's true: you may have intelligence or beauty or an incredible sense of confidence, but a woman is nothing without the ability to pretend to play music from a turntable. There is ample evidence – none of it scientific – to support this claim.

This is exactly how a fake DJ competition wound up on HTV's Diem So Hoan Hao, a gameshow in which contestants of the opposite sex compete to impress the two main players.

In what are perhaps three and half of the most awkward minutes in Vietnamese television history, the female competitors from one episode of Diem So Hoan Hao were tasked with showing off their fake DJ skills in order to win the hearts of two eligible young men. Each of the four contestants took their turn, fist-pumping and head-bobbing their hearts out as the music blared overhead.
