ABOUT THE PROJECT:
In the era of digital photography, selfies and portraits have become a bit mundane. Nowadays, one can take hundreds of photos of someone at a time and choose the best shot that best represents a smile, a glance, a stare, a smirk, a nod at the camera. Karl became interested in the one-shot portraits of people, the more he learned about films and film cameras. No complications, no drama, just point and shoot. It’s the one shot at catching a facial reaction, the one shot at looking to the camera, that make the stories of Hello Faces. 

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Karl Fajardo is an advertising professional who’s been working in Vietnam since 2015. Inspired by street photography and art scene, he started film photography with rangefinder and point-and-shoot cameras early this year.
