Here, Songs will touch the deepest recesses of the soul: from the visionary German poetry of Schubert and Schumann’s Lieder, to the aching yearning of Russian Romances through the lens of Rachmaninoff, and the radiant, sun-drenched Southern warmth of Lalo and Rossini.

As the melodies shift, the hall will be filled with the spirit of Dances. Audiences will be swept away by the frenetic rhythms of a Southern Italian Tarantella, swept up in a resplendent spring waltz by the "Waltz King" himself, J. Strauss, embraced by the rustic warmth of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances, and enchanted by the mystical footsteps of Anitra in Grieg’s folkloric world.

And finally, the radiant light that illuminates this entire garden is Virtuosity. The artists’ brilliance will reach its zenith through the monumental architecture of Schumann’s Symphonic Études, the dazzling instrumental fireworks of Paganini, and the rustic yet exquisite lyricism of the bassoon - an instrument rarely given the center stage - in Weber’s beautiful concerto.

Through the soaring heights of a Soprano and the warm resonance of a Baritone, intertwined with the rich textures of Violin, Cello, Bassoon, and Piano - spanning solo, duo, and trio performances - each piece becomes a rare, exotic bloom. Together, they blossom to weave a magnificent tapestry of sound. SCG offers free, non-commercial concerts with the support of artists. To sustain and improve these events, sponsorships or donations are welcome and will cover venue rental, tea breaks, printing, and other concert costs.

Formal attire is required. Children under 8 are not admitted. Please arrive at least 25 minutes before the scheduled start time. Latecomers may only enter during intermission.

SAIGON CLASSICAL MUSIC GROUP was established in 2005 in Ho Chi Minh City to provide unique aesthetic pleasure to the public through accessible, qualified classical music concerts, through a diversifying performance repertoire delivered in unique, well-organized events. Thus, the collective strives to connect the classical music community, support new musical talents and homegrown creatives, and raise public awareness and appreciation of classical music in daily life.
