Selectas Manuel Orkestar and Janko are going to be your conductors on this journey from London to Istanbul, digging up rare treats, valuable musical nuggets and Balkan melodies that you didn't realise were so addictive. We'll be hanging out in the tea room on carriage 2, but if you want some wiggling the shakey-shakey room is in carriage 5.

There will be refreshments both hot and cold. Please keep your arms within the carriage at all times. We're on our way to Istanbul, all abooooooaaaard.

Manuel Orkestar is a melomaniac. He brought his passion for world music to Hanoi for 4 years now. DJ resident at B4 bar for a monthly gathering, he also plays for art and charity events. For this event he prepared a musical journey from London to Istanbul, with off-track pearls and delicious melodies handpicked for you to enjoy the train trip through towns, forests or mountains of Europe.

Janko's taste for music is eclectic and intriguing. Long term resident of Hanoi and world wanderer has prepared something special for this occasion. As someone born in the Balkans our selector would like to introduce the sound of his home. Expect an abundance of sounds and board the music train ranging from Western Europe and all the way through the heart of the Balkans with the last stop in Istanbul.
