Humans of Saigon follows in the footsteps of the acclaimed Facebook page Humans of New York that embraces the mantra “There’s more to a book than its cover.”

Like the New York version, the group seeks to show the diversity of the city’s residents by asking them questions about their lives, snapping a portrait and posting the two on Humans in Saigon’s 64,000+ member strong Facebook page.
In an effort to break free from the chains of Facebook, the team recently produced this short video that, like their page, showcases the city’s hidden stories.
The group also hosts offline gatherings such as their exhibition “The Saigonese Tale” that Humans of Saigon.
