Rocky Horror Halloween Madness

We are looking for Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast Members for a Halloween Madness Screening on October 31 at Cargo Bar @ Q4 (part of their Halloween Party)

For those who are not familiar with the RHPS Halloween Madness Screening, it involves screening the cult movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show, with live audience participation (aided by audio-visual cues) and hosted by a shadow cast. The shadow cast members are dressed up just like the characters in the movie but they don’t need to memorize the whole movie script. They just need to mirror some of the major scenes from the film, dance and lip synch to their character’s songs, and interact with the audience and rouse them during audience participation moments and during dance numbers.

We are looking for actors to shadow the following characters:

Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Janet Weiss, Brad Majors, Riff Raff, Magenta, Columbia, Dr. Everette V. Scott, Rocky Horror, The Criminologist (the narrator), Eddie and Transylvanians.

If you are auditioning for ROCKY, DR. FRANK-N-FURTER, MAGENTA, JANET, or BRAD you have to make sure you're comfortable in minimal clothing. (If you have seen the movie, you understand why)

Audition Procedure will go as follows:

a. Audition for Transylvanians (a simple portion of the Time Warp)
b. Audition for individual characters. Please create a lip sync routine with simple dance movements (a 1 minute excerpt is OK) to your characters’ songs:

Dr. Frank-N-Furter: Sweet Transvestite
Janet Weiss: Dammit Janet
Brad Majors: Dammit Janet
Riff Raff: Time Warp
Magenta: Time Warp
Columbia: Time Warp
Dr. Everette V. Scott: Eddie

The Criminologist (the narrator): Time Warp
Eddie: Whatever Happened to Saturday Night
