From later this year, fans of fast-fashion retailer H&M will not have to make a trek to Bangkok to shop, as the Swedish brand recently announced the launch of a flagship store in downtown Saigon.
As CafeBiz reports, H&M Vietnam has confirmed that its first location in Saigon will open its doors to shoppers in autumn this year. The store will be located inside Vincom Dong Khoi, next door to the city’s first Zara store.
It seems that H&M is going all out with their first location: the store will have an area of 2,200 square meters spanning two floors and featuring clothes for adults and kids, as well as accessories and more.
The news source also shares that company employees will receive three to five months of overseas training before joining the store’s team in setting up the premier location.
Earlier this year, the company divulged plans to open up 430 stores worldwide in 2017, with a special focus on five key new markets, including Vietnam, Iceland, Colombia, Kazakhstan and Georgia.
