[Photos] Take a Look at Hanoi's Future Metro Trains

Here’s what Hanoi’s first metro system trains will look like.

Zing recently unveiled close-up images of the trains that will be used on the under-construction Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway.

Manufactured in China, the trains arrived in Hanoi in February this year and were recently placed on the tracks, according to VnExpress.

Several changes have been made to the interiors of the passenger cars when compared to the China-specific prototype that was displayed in 2015. Instructions, signs and operation panels on the train are in Vietnamese, while LED maps have also been added for the convenience of commuters.

Trial runs on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong line are expected to commence in October this year. According to the International Railway Journal, Japan's Tokyo Metro company will play a role in helping Hanoi manage its new transportation network.
