You’re traveling the world but don’t want to make the pictures from your trip stand out. What better way to do so than travel with another couple, one that’s photogenic and…made of plastic?
A Scottish couple, Craig McCartney and Lindsey Haggerty recently traveled across Europe and SE Asia with 2 Lego companions, taking pictures of the plastic toys along the way.
The beautiful images show the miniature tourists visiting famous sites in Scotland, England, France, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand and our own Vietnam.
Craig said: 'I was thinking of things to get my girlfriend for her 30th birthday and I came across a little Lego camera.
'This gave me some inspiration - we like to travel as much as we can and when we visit a new city or go somewhere on holiday.
'Lindsey always has the camera for taking pictures and I carry the map and a bag with our things.
'So I made two Lego figures to represent us - Lego Lindsey with the camera and Lego me with the map and rucksack - and that was the first gift I gave her when we were in Paris for her 30th.
'You'd be surprised how long it takes to get some of the pictures just right, even the slightest breeze can knock them over, and we always need something at just the right height to sit them on.'
