This year the Goethe Institut brings some of the most interesting German films of the year to silver screen enthusiasts in Vietnam; both by famous directors and young, new filmmakers. And it's free!
The ‘German film festival’ started on the 5th of September in Hanoi, it has been presented in various cities across the country (Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Thai Nguyen) and it will end in Saigon from the 27th of September until the 3rd of October.
The programme includes a wide range of themes and cinematic genres, such as children adventure ‘Victor and the secret of Crocodile Mansion’, apocalyptic thriller ‘Hell’, music documentary ‘Sound of Heimat’, animation ‘Animal united’ and drama ‘Barbara’, to name a few.
