A major new bus station has been approved for Hoang Mai District, in an effort to relieve stress several of the city's dated bus facilities.

Hanoi Times reports that Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has ordered the city to build the Yen So Bus Station, which is expected to reduce stress on Giap Bat, Nuoc Ngam and Gia Lam stations.

According to the news source, the municipal People's Committee has already approved the station, which will cover 3.2 hectares near Yen So Park, just off Ring Road 3.

The facility will feature three floors and one basement for parking, while much of the technology for passengers will be automated. LED panels, for example, will display all of the information visitors need.

In terms of overall planning, Yen So will serve as an inter-provincial bus facility as part of the city's vision to provide more parking and station in the future.
