Event Rewind: Saigon Artbook Party

Last Thursday's Saigon Artbook Party was a hit. From 6 – 11, La Brasserie de Saigon, on the corner of Hai Ba Trung and Dong Du was packed with both locals and foreigners who turned out to support this new, artistic concept.

La Brasserie hooked up guests with unique cocktails and delicious finger food, created exclusively for the event.

Local DJs, Demon Slayer and Starchild, lit up the decks with awesome original tracks while party-goers checked out the works of the Artbook’s artists, Sandrine Llouquet, Truc-Anh and Ayano Otani which we hung on the restaurant’s walls.

A few lucky guests won some pretty sweet prizes including clothes from Lam Boutique, a bottle of sparkling wine from La Brasserie and bottles of sparkling cider and vouchers from La Creperie.

All guests received a limited edition copy of the Saigon Artbook (you can download a .PDF version of the Artbook).

The Artbook team is planning to release another edition later this year so if you missed this party, follow us on Facebook for updates about our upcoming Janurary edition.

To celebrate the grand birth of Saigon Artbook's first printed edition, we asked DMN SLYR to play live and record his set at our opening party. DMN SLYR blends together a massive selection that transcends genres, seamlessly weaving together future bass, alt R&B, Jersey Club, house, funk and a couple of his own original works. We hope you enjoy is as much as Saigon did!
