Taking place from July 30 to August 2, the festival’s opening ceremony will be held at Ha Noi Goethe Institute on July 31 from 6pm-9pm, featuring discussions, lectures and film screenings, reports Vietnam News

While the 2014 festival centered around education, this year's program focuses on LGBT issue in the workplace:

"A campaign entitled Equal Office, initiated by PricewaterhouseCoopers, will raise awareness about sexual diversity and promote LGBT-friendly workplaces," said Viet Pride’s Tam Nguyen.

“The campaign brings LGBT knowledge, visibility and educational material to the workplace, targeting office workers and employers across Viet Nam. It is building its groundwork and will kick-start with two dialogues between campaign organisers and businesses in Ha Noi and HCM City, supported by the Dutch Embassy, the American Consulate, the US Embassy and PricewaterhouseCoopers Vietnam,” wrote the news website.

The 4-day program is highlighted by Sunday’s Viet Pride bicycle rally from Giang Vo Lake to the American Club where people can enjoy live music, free drinks and closing remarks.
