Just a short drive away from downtown Saigon, the Concerto House epitomizes the city’s contemporary school of thought when it comes to architecture.
According to ArchDaily, the ultramodern house was the brainchild of Austria-based architecture collective Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, finished in 2016. In contrast with the hectic urban rhythm of central districts, Concerto House is smackdab in the quietude of suburban Saigon. Upon setting foot on the premise, visitors will notice that the building’s minimalist design stands out from its neighbors, which are mainly typical Saigon homesteads.
The geometrical main structures are surrounded by a lush garden and water features with the Saigon River in the distance. The design team decided to cover the exterior with durable concrete to help the home withstand Saigon’s harsh elements.
The living space inside can satisfy the owner’s diverse living needs: from sipping homemade cocktails at the bar to enjoying the latest Netflix blockbuster in the cinema room.
