Comic Con, one of the World’s largest gaming, technology, comic book, anime, manga, and cosplay events is coming to Saigon for the first time next month.
The organizers are hoping to attract at least 10,000 attendees to District 10’s Phu Tho stadium on December 7 and have a wide variety of offerings from dance contests to video game competitions.
The organizers have partnered with local gaming studios which will demo their newest titles and will feature the work of local artists in their “Artist Alley.”
Costumed characters such as Doraemon, Pikachu, Goku, Spiderman, Naruto and others will be walking around the floor space. Photo backdrops will also be positioned around the stadium to provide cosplayers and regular participants fun photo opportunities.
The event will also feature a League of Legends Tournament, Vietnam Dance Heroes Contest and Costume Contest.
There are also plenty of kid-focused activities as well so Comic Con would probably make for a fun family affair.
Tickets are moderately priced at VND150,000 via Upbeat.vn and will cost VND180,000 at the door.
