[Update] According to the organizers, the show has been canceled due to logistical issues.
"We are devastated and sickened right now and after a few days of working hard around the clock to make this show happen, we are deeply sorry we couldn't bring The Prodigy to Vietnam," the organizers wrote in a release.
"We will continue to do our best to bring more great shows to Vietnam. Please accept our apologies on this occasion," they added.
[Earlier] Grammy-nominated electronic music pioneers, The Prodigy, will hit Saigon this Friday with a surprise performance at Cargo.
It is the group’s first show in Vietnam and could turn out to be one of the greatest live performances to ever take place in the city.
Expect to hear some of their older hits such as “Breathe” and “Firestarter,” in addition to new singles off their upcoming album, The Day Is My Enemy.
You can thank Sound System, Scientific Sound and Loud Minority for bringing a group of this caliber to Saigon.
Tickets for the show will be available at Cargo starting at 12pm this Thursday and are reasonably priced at VND500,000 each.
We'll see you there.
