About the Contest

We are now accepting submissions for the Vietnamese Language Garden photo contest.

Use your creative eye to shoot photos that capture nature in Saigon - tree-lined streets, a day in the park, overgrown weeds swallowing the skeletons of abandoned houses in Thu Thiem.

The winner will receive free, personalized Vietnamese classes at Vietnamese Language Garden and have their photo featured on Saigoneer.com.

The contest will be held at this Facebook page where people can vote on their favorite photo and will have 2 rounds:

Round 1 (July 19 - August 2):

People can access the VLG photo contest Facebook album and vote on their favorite picture(s). After 2 weeks, the 10 pictures with the most likes will move on to round 2.

Round 2 (August 9):

A panel of professional photographers will review the final 10 pictures and pick the winner. 

How to Enter

Email a high-resolution version of your photo to contribute@saigoneer.com with the subject line “VLG photo contest” along with the title and location shot.

Prize

The winner of the contest will receive 20 free hours of Vietnamese classes at Vietnamese Language Garden and have their photo featured on Saigoneer.

Fine Print

Saigoneer will not reuse photos from the contest without written consent from the photographer.
