EXCLUSIVE FOUR-HANDS GASTRONOMIC 3D WINE PAIRING EXPERIENCE

Innovative culinary duo, Chef Hoang Tung from T.U.N.G Dining in Hanoi and Chef Geert-Jan Vaartjes from Anantara Hoi An Resort are teaming up aboard The Vietage to create an exclusive six-course gourmet food and wine pairing experience.

Both passionate chefs have international experience in Michelin star restaurants and are bringing their pioneering ideas and expertise to design a memorable culinary event, along with a little hint of 3D food theatre.

The chefs will be crafting six courses of epicurean heaven, including Australian Blackmore 100% Wagyu and local Da Lat caviar, which will be expertly-paired with a selection of Grand Crus from Bordeaux. A Taittinger Champagne and amuse bouche combination will act as a prelude to the main performance, while live music will provide additional entertainment during the day.

The menu will contain surprise touches of 3D printing, cleverly-devised by the chefs’ use of the first two 3D food printers in Vietnam and inspired by each dish to complement the design and flavour.

Anantara Hoi An Resort’s Executive Chef, Geert-Jan Vaartjes, is highly-talented and creative culinary professional. His imagination and flair for innovation manifest themselves in exciting taste and visual food experiences. He will be joined by Chef Hoang Tung, Head Chef and Co-Founder of T.U.N.G Dining in Hanoi, named to represent Twisted, Unique, Natural and Gastronomic – his philosophy of creating quirky and dynamic combinations.

Limited to 12 places only, The Vietage will depart from Da Nang station at 09:31 on Saturday 6th March 2021 and the day’s experience will take gastronomes to a new level of dining enjoyment before arriving in Quy Nhon in the afternoon. The Vietage is the first railway carriage of its kind in Vietnam and is pioneering new luxury experiences for guests.
