In the realm of things you never knew you needed but cannot live without, we introduce to you the 3D-printed bust.

If you've ever felt the impulse to bolster your own self-importance, there is now a Saigon-based 3D printing company which can aid you in fulfulling your delusions of grandeur for the low, low price of US$44.

According to 3DPrint, local outfit Michelano 3D now offers high-quality 3D-printed busts to customers, transforming the average 2D portrait into a glorious, bronzed rendering of your head and shoulders.

Customers are scanned using white light scanning technology at the shop's District 3 facility. Within seven days, Michelano will print a beautiful 9.5-centimeter, 3D portrait and also provide the 3D file for reprints of said bust. Standard orders come in white or black but to kick it up a notch you can also opt for a bust that's printed in or painted copper.

Best of all, additional reprints of your bust are just VND150,000, meaning you can hand out these babies like party favors to all of your closest family and friends. Better yet, bring those friends along: the shop also offers group discounts if your whole squad is looking for 3D portraits.

Michelano also provides larger sizes for an additional cost as well as a 48-hour express service (US$63) and, for those who just can't wait to be immortalized in 3D, a 24-hour super express service.
