[Photos] A Homey Abode for a Family of 4 in Saigon

What better way to start brightening up your life than beginning with the walls of your own home?

In this new residential project, designed by Hanoi-based architecture firm FeA Studio, the young homeowners made full use of cheerful contrasting colors – blue and yellow – that perfectly complement their small family of parents and two children. The homey abode, built on a 115-square-meter lot, features a clean contemporary style with white walls and metallic and concrete elements.

According to the architects, spaciousness, airiness and safety were the three most important criteria of the house. At the moment, the family shares two bedrooms on the ground floor: the couple is in one and the two boys are in another.

ArchDaily reports that they plan to turn the children’s room into a shared family space once they have grown enough to have their own rooms, which will be based on higher floors.
