[Photos] Old Quarter Building a Bridge Between Space and Urban Density

This spacious building, designed by G8A Architecture & Urban Planning, stands out amid the city's claustrophobic Old Quarter.

According to ArchDaily, the Bridge Office Building, which is located in Hoan Kiem District, was completed this year. The office building "embodies a design solution responding to the context of the spatial and socio-economic landscape of urban Vietnam."

The structure contains the offices of several brands under the OpenAsia Group, and features a series of platforms held up by two concrete cores: one contains walking paths and main service areas, while the other contains a "memory wall."

Between these cores are large, open spaces featuring broad windows and panoramic rooms stretching across each floor. These sweeping, open offices provide quite the contrast to the densely packed surrounding neighborhood.

Other features prioritize light and growth, while a philosophy of "sustainable ruin" is pursued in the design as well. Check out the striking building below:
