[Photos] Nha Trang Villa Has Its Own Rooftop Park

Continuing along with his trend of creating beautiful, functional modern green spaces, local architect Vo Trong Nghia and his business partner, Masaaki Iwamoto, recently completed our newest dream house in Nha Trang.

The villa, known as Hoan's Hanging Garden, is a modern, all-white structure topped with a terraced roof full of greenery, reports VnExpress.

The villa is a one-story building at the front, where the roof is lowest, but becomes a two-storey structure further back, as the rising roof gives way to additional living space. Nghia and Iwamoto's project covers a total of 271 square meters on the 492-square-meter plot of land.

Up top, the house's residents have their own miniature park to enjoy, as over 50% of the cascading roof is covered in greenery. This was an innovative solution to the owner's request for a large garden area.

Indoors, a series of skylights helps to promote both natural lighting and ventilation, each with a bit of plant life at the bottom. The house is part of an ongoing series Nghia has created called House for Trees.

Now, this is a house we wouldn't mind having.
