We’ve seen plenty of people do tricks on their motorbikes, usually late at night after some drinking. But police won’t hesitate to give you a massive ticket if they catch you in the dangerous act. Just ask Huynh Tuan An.
Tuan Anh was detained by cops in Bac Lieu city on Nov. 1 for driving with his feet through a busy residential area. Since it was 5pm, many of the area’s residents were doing their daily physical exercise. But this didn’t stop Tuan Anh from driving without his hands and laying down on his bike’s saddle.
After residents complained, Tuan Anh was picked up by the police 20 minutes later and was stuck with a VND6,000,000 fine. His bike was also seized for 7 days and his license suspended for 6 months.
Apparently, Tuan Anh has run into bike problems before as he told police that he suffered a fractured skull in a 2009 accident.
