They will be located in Bac Giang and Hoa Binh provinces.
VnExpress reports that Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung approved a 36-hole course in Viet Yen District, Bac Giang Province. The project will cost US$51.6 million and be developed by Truong An Golf Investment JSC.
Elsewhere in the province, another 36-hole facility built by the same company will be located in Luc Nam District. This course will span 140 hectares and cost US$31.8 million.
The third approved club-swinging, ball-hitting, divot-digging club will cover 188 hectares in Ky Son District, Hoa Binh Province. It will be built by An Viet Hoa Binh Golf JSC at a cost of US$48.6 million.
No completion dates for the courses were provided, but they will each receive a 50-year operating license.
According to the news source, a 2009 government plan aimed to have 89 golf courses nationwide by 2020, but only 30 have been completed, and a number are facing financial struggles.
