VietJet Air is ready to expand its network yet again, with new flights from Saigon to Phuket and Chiang Mai in Thailand starting in December.
Tuoi Tre reports that the Chiang Mai route will begin on December 12 and operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Flights will leave Saigon at 11:35am and arrive in Chiang Mai at 1:30pm, while the return leg will depart the northern Thai city at 2:20pm and land in Saigon at 4:25pm.
As of December 15, flights to Phuket will start taking off every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Passengers will depart Saigon at 10:15am and arrive on the island at 12:10pm, while the return leg leaves Phuket at 1:05pm and arrives in Saigon at 3:10pm.
These are VietJet's fifth and sixth routes to Thailand.
To celebrate the announcement, the airline is offering 180,000 tickets starting at VND0. However the promotion is only available during the period of 12pm-2pm for three days from October 25 to 27. These tickets are valid for trips from November 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.
