Christmas Eve Potluck Dinner + Secret Santa @ Saigon Outcast

From the organizer:

Everyone is welcome to Christmas potluck dinner and secrete Santa at Saigon Outcast on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, for our special edition of eating-too-much and enjoying a a Xmas themed music video.

Since it's a potluck we ask that if you want to participate to please bring a special dish to share with friends and strangers who may become your friend in the future. Your dish doesn't have to be a traditional Christmas recipe nor does it have to be from the countries that celebrate Christmas. Bring whatever you feel like sharing! If feasible, please comment below what you will be bringing. This way people won't come with the same dishes (unless you guys want to have a food competition, then go ahead!).

Come prepared with a dish to add to the table or prepare it at Saigon Outcast's kitchen. Please contact SO in advance if you'd like to use the kitchen.

The basic concept of the Secret Santa game is simple. All of the participants’ names are placed into a hat, box, etc. and mixed up. Each person then chooses one name from the box, but doesn't tell anyone which name was picked. He/she is now responsible for buying a gift for the person selected.

When the Secret Santa wraps their gift, he/she just labels it with the recipients name but doesn't indicate whom the present is from. (Remember, most of the fun is in the secrecy.)

Highlights:

- Share home cooking dishes
- Xmas music videos
- Secret Santa
- Beer Pong

We will collect all participants name, jumble them and reassign them to participants before the event. The budget for the present is 50k only.

Tuesday, 24 December
