[Video] "The Road Story Vietnam"

There’s no shortage of videos made by backpackers trekking through Vietnam which tap directly into our wanderlust. But few videos feature the high-level of production value found in "The Road Story Vietnam."

This short film was shot over 45 days in Vietnam by two Moscow natives, Georgy Tarasov and Daniil Tarasov in September 2014.

The road story Vietnam from Georgy Tarasov on Vimeo.

We were able to get in touch with Georgy who gave us a little background information on his journey and video.

He and his brother booked their tickets to Vietnam based on the recommendations of friends who had previously traveled the country and they were not disappointed by the hype.

As seen in the film, the brothers have a particular affinity for trains, which “travel on their own predetermined route, no matter your intentions.”

After settling on “My Home” by Talisco for the soundtrack, Georgy reached out to the band's label which gave them permission to use the tune.

The brothers hope to create more videos of a similar ilk on their future travels so keep an eye out on their Vimeo page.
