This Is What A Mongolian Hip-Hop Video Looks Like

Tracing its roots back to the cities of the United States, Hip-Hop has since spread across the globe, penetrating even the farthest corners of human civilization.

When Vietnam’s Suboi brought Vietnamese rap to the SXSW music festival last week, she made headlines as many were surprised that she hailed from a communist nation that isn’t exactly known for nurturing artistic subcultures.

A Mongolian rap group called Fish Symbolled Stamp has taken the genre’s reach to a whole new level with their single “Mongol.” The track, found on the soundtrack of the film, “Time of the Middle Emperor,” fuses traditional Mongolian throat singing with rapping, making for some interesting results.

"Epic" is one of the first words that comes to mind.
