Vietnam’s TicketBox Lands New Round of Investment

Vietnamese online ticketing service TicketBox has acquired a new round of funding.

The site, which was founded in 2013 under the name Keewi, recently secured an undisclosed amount of series A funding from two main investors, 500 Startups and global tech investment group Susquehanna International, reports Deal Street Asia. The deal reportedly took place back in July, according to Crunchbase, however no further details regarding the funding have been provided. TicketBox founder and CEO Mike Tran has also declined to comment on the company’s new round of funding.

500 Startups also invested in TicketBox’s 2014 venture funding, as did Thai digital content provider Ookbee.

Moving forward, Deal Street Asia reports, TicketBox will focus on expanding its regional presence in addition to strengthening its local foothold.
