This rustic abode in Nha Trang blends a modern structure with traditional Vietnamese design accents to create a homey atmosphere for its dwellers.

Designed by Chon.a Architects, Blinds Townhouse might not look much different than the tube houses in the vicinity. However, its interior comprises comfortable and spacious living quarters for a family of three generations.

The project was finished in 2015 on a lot spanning 95 square meters. Two years later, a feature by ArchDaily shows how the home owners have integrated the design into their daily life.

“These photographs were taken when the project has been finished for 2 years. In the [sic] Vietnam's context of extremely fast urbanization, two years is enough to clearly perceive the interactions of the project with people and the environment,” Chon.a told the online source.

Blinds Townhouse made extensive use of neutral colors for its main structure, from steel beams to concrete dividers and white walls. However, the cold contemporary design is accentuated by warm wood tones and scores of green spaces in various locations around the house.
