The Long Biên Bridge is one of Vietnam’s most iconic structures for a reason. Not only is it an amazing feat of engineering, but it’s huge, categorically huge.

While images of the monolithic bridge shot from the ground show the bridges gritty details – rusted iron beams and scars of war - it can be difficult to appreciate just how impressive it is, especially given that it was build over a century ago.
Last August, Vietnam Net sent a Flycam drone to the skies above the old standby, providing a rare bird’s eye view of the 1,680 meter bridge.
