False Alarm: Psy Is Not Coming to Vietnam

Don't go brushing up on your Gangnam Style moves just yet: the much-discussed Psy performance that Vietnam was expecting later this month has been indefinitely put on hold.

According to Tuoi Tre, the Super X Festival organizers responsible for the upcoming show, which would have featured Psy alongside several other K-pop stars, announced on Sunday that the 'Gangnam Style' performer would not be visiting Vietnam after all, as ticket sales fell below expectation over the past few weeks.

Festival organizers promised to reimburse fans who had already purchased tickets to see the concert. Super X was meant to take place on November 20 and 21, with performances in both Hanoi and Saigon. In addition to a bevy of K-pop stars, the show was also slated to feature Vietnamese pop stars Son Tung M-TP, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Min St. 319 and Dong Nhi.
