VietJet to Start Flying From Da Nang to Taipei in December

The low-cost carrier is currently operating eight routes connecting Saigon, Hanoi and Da Nang to four Taiwanese cities including Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung.

Recently, VietJet announced that from December 19 this year, its non-stop Da Nang–Taipei route will officially take off, Tuoi Tre reports. The flights will occur daily and utilize two Airbus aircraft models, the A320 and A321.

Each leg of the trip will take approximately three hours. The daily flight from Da Nang International Airport departs at 10:50am and arrives at Taoyuan International Airport by 2:30pm (local time). On the same day, the return flight from Taipei takes off at 3:30pm and arrives in Da Nang at 5:30pm (local time).

"The Da Nang–Taipei non-stop route is part of our plan to expand VietJet's network, providing more reasonable flying opportunities to residents and tourists," said Jay Lingeswara, VietJet Air's international sales and distribution director.

Beginning December 6 this year, the airline will also launch two direct flight routes to New Delhi, one departing from Hanoi and another from Saigon. The Saigon–New Delhi flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while the Hanoi–New Delhi route will fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
