After first capsule hotel opened its doors in Saigon earlier this year, the pod concept is now being applied at Noi Bai International Airport.
On Tuesday, Vietnam Aviation Tourism Corp unveiled the 14 pods (3 single and 11 double rooms) at Noi Bai’s departure terminal, according to Tuoi Tre.
The pods are 4sqm, 3m high and include a bed, wardrobe, free water and snacks, telephone and WIFI access.
Single rooms will set you back VND210,000 and doubles VND252,000 for the first 3 hours. With full day rates at VND1.53 million and VND1.83 million, respectively.
Considering the massive number of delays and cancelations of flights in Vietnam, the addition of sleep pods makes a lot of sense.
We could sure use some of these for our office.
