The 90-Year-Old Lumberjack Of Hanoi

Though nearly a century old, 90-year-old Hanoi man, Lê Văn Sâm still amazes people with his incredible health and work ethic. Every day for over 70 years, Sâm has cut and transported large trees to market, earning him the nickname “King of the trees,” reports Zing.

The scrawny old man uses a machete, hammer and rope for his daily routine which consists of buying and selling wood.

His 32-year-old grandson, Hải, concerned about Sâm’s health, repeatedly asked that he give up his job but met resistance on each occasion.

His family went as far as to forcibly send him to live in Saigon with his eldest son, but Sâm saved up his pocket-money and bought a train ticket back to Hanoi, immediately returning to work.

Talk about dedication.
