Hyatt Announces 69-Story Skyscraper in D7 Housing 2 Hotels

At 69 floors, the proposed Park Hyatt hotel tower will be one floor higher than Bitexco; but will it look like a shampoo bottle too?

The District 7 building will contain both a 300-room Hyatt Place Saigon and a 250-room Hyatt House Saigon, catering to short- and long-term stays.

The skyscraper will occupy the center of the 34-acre Eco Green Saigon development (13.76 hectares) less than two kilometers from the burgeoning Phu My Hung area. It is set to include residential units, offices, event and garden spaces and a primary school, in addition to the luxury hotel.

According to the project's website, the construction of Eco Green Saigon began in the first quarter of 2018 and will open in 2021. Some elements, including the central park have already been completed, while construction clatters on for the buildings.

The Park Hyatt hotel tower is expected to open in 2023. The global hotel brand has signed a management agreement with Xuan Mai Sai Gon Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, the investor behind the entire Eco Green Saigon development. It is designed by Australia-based Plus Architecture.
