Rooftop Concerts, Saigoneer's live music video series, is finally back; this time featuring electronic duo Limebócx, one of the most promising new acts in the capital's underground music scene.

Through a mix of traditional instrumentation and contemporary beatboxing, Limebócx has forged one of the freshest sounds in the city in 'Yêu Nhau (Qua Cầu Gió Bay).' The song takes the lyrics and melody from a Bac Ninh quan họ classic and remixes them with electronic elements.

The duo recently released a music video for this reggae-tinged track, which pays tribute to their blend of new and old: water puppetry, breakdancing, quan họ attire and đàn tranh all feature in a stylish homage to fusion.

Following Những Đứa Trẻ earlier this year, Limebócx is now the second act to feature in Rooftop Concerts with a stripped-back, alternate version of 'Yêu Nhau (Qua Cầu Gió Bay). This clip was filmed on a secret rooftop in Ba Dình District, complete with live đàn tranh and a dashing pineapple shirt.
