Saigon Artbook, the city’s platform for emerging artists, is currently seeking submissions for its quarterly art publication. Both local and foreign artists based in Saigon are encouraged to apply.
“We’re really excited to reopen our call for submission and see what new Saigon artists are out there,” says Long, co-founder of Saigon Artbook. “Over the last two years, we’ve successfully published six books and held multiple events, talks and workshops all over HCMC to engage people with local art and are looking forward to doing even more in 2016.”
Saigon Artbook is a dynamic non-profit organization that encourages engagement through art in both its quarterly art book publications and local exhibitions featuring innovative, up-and-coming Vietnamese and expat artists in Saigon. Its 2015 partnership with Vin Gallery and event organizing company UFO aims to elevate the project by promoting the work of local artists and connecting Saigon's artists with the community at large.
