After 23 Years, Lufthansa to Close HCMC Route

Lufthansa, Europe’s largest airline, will close its Frankfurt-HCMC route after 23 years, reports the Saigon Times.

The airline will offer its last 2 flights tomorrow but may resume pending “appropriat[e] restructuring,” leaving Air France as the only European Airline offering direct flights between Europe and HCMC.

The German airline first launched service to Vietnam in 1990.

All's not lost, however as you can still catch one of Lufthansa's two daily flights out of Bangkok.
