On Monday night, hundreds of people congregated at the walking street to take in a fight organized on Facebook by two women who wanted to “to settle [their] conflicts,” reports Tuoi Tre.

Word of the fight spread across the social network and by 7:20pm a large crowd of spectators had gathered to take in the brawl.

By the time the women arrived at 8pm, hundreds of police officers had been deployed to break up the crowd and block off the area.

Police immediately escorted the duo to the Ben Nghe Ward Police Station on Ho Tung Mau Street.

Even when the women had been carted away, rowdy fans stayed on Nguyen Hue. According to police, about 14 people, including numerous “hardcore fans” were taken to the police station.
