As of this month, tropical Saigon is now home to its own winter wonderland.
Snow Town, which bills itself as a winter park, is now open for business in District 2, featuring two floors of artificial snow reserved for sledding, snowman-building and skiing, among other cold-weather activities.
According to the park’s Facebook page, Snow Town officially opened on March 18. The 4,000-square-meter facility touts itself as the country’s first-ever ski park. The temperature in Snow Town is always a brisk 15-16°C, reports VietnamNet, and the facility features Japanese snow-making technology.
Visitors can experience the cool air and frozen precipitation of winter at a cost of VND200,000 for two hours, according to VnExpress, though Snow Town visitors are advised to bring their own winter attire.
