Vietnam’s railway industry is officially entering the digital age. After announcing that it was working with FPT on a VND170 billion e-ticketing system, free WIFI may soon be coming to the country’s trains, reports VN Express.

Nguyễn Văn Bính, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Railway Transport Company announced that a pilot program for the service will be launched over the next 1-3 months on the HCMC – Hanoi line.
Bính added that free WIFI networks will be set up in 7 major stations around Vietnam.
