SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 1, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Shincheonji Church of Jesus successfully held its 115th Religious Leaders Forum and Graduation Ceremony on October 30 at the Shincheonji Cheongju Church Branch. Originally scheduled for a different venue, the event was relocated due to a last-minute cancellation. This change required swift adjustments to accommodate thousands of attendees, including international religious leaders and graduates who had already arrived in South Korea for the occasion.

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus had made all necessary preparations for the original location, including obtaining prior approval, submitting rental fees, and conducting a detailed planning session with officials to confirm event logistics and safety measures. The church had also received assurances that no changes were anticipated in the lead-up to the event.

"We regret the impact this unexpected venue change may have had on our international and domestic attendees, many of whom traveled extensively to participate in this event," stated a Shincheonji spokesperson. "While the relocation was challenging, we were able to adapt, allowing the graduation ceremony to proceed as planned at our Cheongju Branch."

This event marks the fourth consecutive year that Shincheonji Church of Jesus has held a graduation ceremony with over 100,000 attendees. With a total of 111,628 graduates in 2024, the church has once again demonstrated its global reach and commitment to fostering international faith communities.
