Lasting from 1225 to 1400, the Tran Dynasty was a prosperous era in Vietnamese history filled with heralded art, music and culture, in between three victories over Mongol forces.

Citing the desire of young Vietnamese to learn more about the country's history, 22-year-old Tue Tran designed a history book and various accompaniments, such as T-shirts and movie posters, focused on the Tran Dynasty. The bright colors and modern presentation also include more traditional shapes and patterns. 

While not available for purchase, the project is part of a planned series that will bring all 12 of the nation's dynasties into contemporary imaginations. Have a look at the images from the project below:
